In celebration of its 9th anniversary (yesterday) I thought I’d post some MOTHER 3 recipes for you all 🙂

What’s your favorite food? Is it omelets? You certainly wouldn’t be alone in the quaint hamlet of Tazmilly if it is. But just how do they get this breakfast staple to taste so fluffy and delicious? Could it be the farm fresh eggs from the summit of Mt. Oriander, or that distinctive bite of peculiar cheese melted on top? There’s even a rumor going around that claims the town’s famous omelets are actually grown in the castle courtyard garden!! All speculation aside however, I’d have to say that what really makes them special is the love of Mothers throughout the village cooking their children’s favorite meal.

Truthfully, a written recipe can only go so far at attempting to capture that kind of familial affection, so just consider this a starting point and feel free to add in whatever else you’d like.

A few bites before your morning jog may even help you run those miles in record time!

If you’re looking to avoid the drive-thru on your morning commute, here’s a recipe so you make them anytime. Goes great with a glass of milk!

What better way to start our culinary exploration of EarthBound, than the very first recovery item you receive: the cookie!

A favorite of little sisters and Moms alike, the humble cookie is a popular snack for travelers about to set off on a grand adventure. Most local bakeries sell these tasty treats for $7.00, but no need to despair if that price seems a little steep. It seems as if some of the more ill-tempered crows in the area have taken a liking to this particular baked good and have even been known to steal them right out of children’s hands! If you’re feeling a bit peckish, it may do you well to check in any bird’s nests you happen to see along the way, but beware of the territorial avians you could find waiting in ambush!

An admittedly more environmentally friendly option would be to simply bake the cookies in the safety of your own home and to this end I’ve compiled a recipe for your perusal. Not only will your kitchen smell delicious, but it’ll also help you to avoid all those unsightly peck marks.
